Did you know Mount Pleasant has a lantern walk every year to mark the end of Daylight Saving Time? Join the walk’s organizer to create a lantern to carry through the woods on the first Sunday in November. Starting with a white paper lantern, you’ll use colorful tissue paper and glue to make it your own. You can keep it simple or get as intricate as you’d like. Once illuminated from within, every lantern becomes something magical.

What’s included: Lantern, LED light and everything needed to decorate your lantern.

Price: $25 (Due to limited capacity, event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.)

About your facilitator

David Greenfieldboyce (he/him) is an artist living in Mount Pleasant. He works with many different materials and techniques, but is mostly interested in creating public artworks. He has been organizing the Mount Pleasant Lantern Walk since 2012.
