Intro to metal embossing

Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity and texture as we explore the art of metal embossing using aluminum embossing foil. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to create raised designs, patterns, and illustrations by pressing and shaping metal into beautiful dimensional artwork.

We’ll provide a variety of pre-made designs and templates to help you get started, or you can create your own original design and make something completely unique.

All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

Adriana Mendoza (she/her) is a creative architect, landscape architect, jewelry designer, and co-creatrix of Femme Fatale DC and Living Room. With a background in metalsmithing and beading, her jewelry practice is rooted in the belief that jewelry is a form of armor—objects we wear to express identity, carry meaning, and move through the world with bold expression.
